Monthly Update - May 2023

Summer is just around the corner for all of us in the northern hemisphere, and the Venly team is working as diligently as ever to deliver the best web3 business applications in the industry. Here’s what we’ve been up to.

The product team is working away diligently behind the scenes, as always, to ensure all of our services remain at the forefront of the industry. First, the Wallet Widget was updated to reduce the chance of it being blocked as a pop-up. As well, the planned migration our products onto Amazon Web Services was carried out successfully, with minimal disruption to customers. This migration improves the security, stability, scalability and performance of our entire infrastructure, meaning an enhanced experience for all of our customers.

After many months of hard work behind the scenes, Venly is now officially ISO27001-certified. This means that our procedures and technical infrastructure have been recognised as meeting the highest global standards for security and data protection. In an unpredictable industry, you can rest easy with Venly.

Among the many exciting projects we have been working with, we particularly wanted to highlight Lympo, who have just launched their sports collectibles trading platform using our Wallet APIs.

May has also seen some much anticipated NFT collections drop on our marketplace. More than a fantastic new art collection, Polygon Monkeys aims to improve the entire Polygon NFT ecosystem through the infrastructure utility that comes with the tokens. Sanshi NFTs, meanwhile, will serve as your ticket to the decentralized world currently being built by Sanin Inu. Check out the Twitter Space our community team conducted with them to learn more.

The start of the month saw the second annual Avalanche Summit take place in Barcelona, Spain. Our Head of Marketing, Stefan Colins, joined thousands of builders and executives at the conference, sharing his insights on a panel entitled ‘Navigating the Road to Web3: A Guide for Big Brands.’

Stefan continued to keep busy, giving an interview for blockchaingamer.biz on blockchain gaming. Elsewhere, over on YouTube, we’ve recently relaunched our YouTube channel,  where we’ve published a tutorial series to get set up with our Shopify App. Figure out all you need to know in 5 bite-sized videos totalling less than 5 minutes - it’s that simple!

Meanwhile, an interview with one of our Account Executives, Mattias Debbaut, recorded at NFT Paris earlier this year, is now available on the CryptoTickerDE YouTube channel. In a wide-ranging discussion, Mattias reflects on the necessary infrastructure for mass adoption, the Venly gaming vertical, future markets, and more! (Attention - while the intro is in Dutch, the interview itself is in English).

This month’s community events included our regular weekly game sessions, notably featuring Space Pickaxe Master and Blocklords, as well as Twitter Spaces with, the team behind Polygon Monkeys and the CEO of Blockchain Security firm Cyberscope. 

There are always prizes to be won in our regular competitions, including exclusive third-party NFTs, as well as token prizes.
